Dealing With the Covid-19 Pandemic - A Solution. Also, the News and a Letter to my Senators

The Buck Stops Somewhere - Guess Where

There is a solution to get the government on the right track in dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic.   The President and the Vice-President both have manifested a degree of incompetence which puts the lives of many Americans at risk as well as leading to extreme harm to the economy.  They both must resign before they do more harm.

Trump and Pence: "Know it Alls" who know nothing
Headlining this incompetence is their failure to order the immediate development of testing for Covid-19, once its emergence in China and the likelihood of its spreading became known, as most other civilized countries did, so that we might know the extent of the problem we face, rather than dealing with it with blinders on.  As President Harry Truman said, sitting in the White House, “the buck stops here.”

They must resign.

Speaker Pelosi

Such resignations would leave the country in the hands of their Constitutionally mandated successor, the Speaker of the House.  Rather than become President, she would head a coalition government, and with the authorization of the Supreme Court, follow the advice of the scientific and medical communities in dealing with Covid-19 and managing the nation until the November presidential election.

Keep up with the News

So many have given up on reading traditional newspapers, it might be a good idea to check out what they are printing these days.  The New York Times makes it easy, and its Covid-19 updates are free.  CLICK HERE TO READ THE TIMES' FRIDAY BRIEFING

Email Corner

Here's an Email I just sent to Marco and Rick.
You might do the same, or send to any Trumpublicans in Washington who happen to represent you:

"How can the Administration claim that they have progressed from "containment' to 'mitigation' of the coronavirus threat when they lack the specifc tool, massive testing availabilty, needed to determine the extent of the problem they have supposedly 'contained"?  (Can you 'contain' a gallon of water in a three ounce cup?  Sure, but a lot is going to be spilled!)  Time for all Republicans to stop talking out of both sides of their mouths in defense of the inept Administration and start acting like Americans."
